Preparing for the 2026 Election

Posted By: Mike Donohue Trending Topics,

Election season presents important opportunities for nonprofit organizations to educate their communities, encourage civic participation, and understand how public policy decisions may affect the people and causes they serve.

DID YOU KNOW?

57% of Americans report high trust in nonprofit organizations.
Trust in nonprofits is higher than in any other sector, including small businesses, the military, philanthropy, government, or the media.

8 in 10 voters (81%) trust nonprofits to engage in policy work.

Nonprofits are perceived as more competent and ethical than foundations, corporations, media, or government.

Whether your organization plans to share voter information, host candidate forums, or better understand the rules governing nonprofit advocacy, we've prepared the resources below to help you navigate this year's election season.
