Event Policy
Florida Nonprofit Alliance provides virtual and in-person events and trainings throughout the year. With the exception of select member-only offerings and certain events with a specific invitation list, FNA’s workshops
are open to all nonprofit professionals and stakeholders. Workshops may be subject to a fee at a member and non-member rate.
To ensure the highest quality experience, we have adopted the following event policies:
Safety and Security
- Virtual Trainings & AI Notetakers: AI Notetakers will not be allowed to enter/record trainings or meetings
without prior written consent from FNA staff. Requests to use AI Notetakers during public trainings
must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the start of the session.
Cancellation and Refunds
If you need to cancel your registration to an FNA event, please see below for our cancellation policy. All cancellations should be submitted to info@flnonprofits.org.
For virtual events:
- More than two weeks in advance: We offer a full refund.
- 14 - 7 days in advance: We offer a full refund minus $5 admin fee.
- 6 days or less + no shows: We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within less than a week or for those who do not show up without contacting FNA.
- Substitutions: If you are unable to attend a training or meeting, we encourage you to send another team member from your organization, unless the event does not allow for it. We will make this substitution at no cost.
For in-person events:
- More than two weeks in advance: We offer a full refund.
- 14 - 7 days in advance: We offer a full refund minus $5 admin fee.
- 6 - 2 days in advance: We offer a 50% refund upon request. (The Nonprofits Count! conference may not qualify.)
- Day of + No Shows: We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the start date or after an event has started.
- Substitutions: If you are unable to attend an event, we encourage you to send another team member
from your organization. We will make this substitution at no cost.
For Florida Nonprofit Day and Nonprofits Count! Conference:
- More than 4 weeks in advance: We offer a full refund, minus a $30 admin fee.
- 27 - 8 days in advance: We offer a a 25% refund.
- 7 days or less + No Shows: No refunds will be made.
- If Florida Nonprofit Day or Nonprofits Count! is canceled, FNA will refund the full amount.
- The cancellation policy may be different for sponsors and exhibitors/vendors. Please see specific information for those opportunities for more detail.
FNA Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any event or substitute presenters if needed. If we cancel an event, we will contact all registrants and give a full refund or training credit.
Photo Release
By registering for an FNA event, you authorize FNA to use your photograph and name to promote FNA's mission. You understand that your photograph may be used in a wide variety of promotional materials including newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, fundraising letters, annual reports, press kits, and submissions to journalists, websites, social media and networking sites, and other print and digital communications. If you would like to opt out of this photo release, please contact info@flnonprofits.org. You can also request your photo be removed from any digital materials at any time by contacting info@flnonprofits.org.
