Florida Nonprofits Survey Now Open: Share Your Organization's Perspective

Florida Nonprofit Alliance (FNA) invites nonprofit organizations across the state to participate in the 2026 Florida Nonprofits Survey, now open through Friday, December 4, 2026.

Conducted annually since 2020, the Florida Nonprofits Survey provides an ongoing assessment of the successes, challenges, and changing needs of Florida's nonprofit sector. The findings help inform FNA's research, advocacy, and educational efforts while providing nonprofit leaders, funders, and policymakers with valuable insight into the conditions affecting organizations throughout the state.

As nonprofits respond to changes in legislation, continued financial pressures, and evolving community needs, this year's survey offers an opportunity to document their experiences and help identify the sector's priorities heading into 2027.

What Does the Survey Cover?

The 2026 Florida Nonprofits Survey examines several key areas of nonprofit operations, including:

• Programs and services: Changes in community demand, operating costs, service delivery, and organizational capacity.

• Workforce and leadership: Staffing challenges, employee and volunteer well-being, and leadership transitions.

• Financial health and fundraising: Revenue trends, financial reserves, fundraising performance, and anticipated funding sources for 2027.

• Government policy and external factors: The effects of recent federal and state government decisions on nonprofit operations, organizational responses to those changes, and engagement with Amendment 3.

• Organizational sustainability: Challenges facing nonprofits, emerging concerns, and the resources organizations need to succeed in the coming year.

Take the 2026 Survey

FNA encourages eligible nonprofit organizations of all sizes and mission areas throughout Florida to participate.

The survey is open to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations based and operating in Florida that were in existence in both 2025 and 2026. Organizations should submit only one response.

The survey consists of 36 questions and takes approximately 25 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and all responses are anonymous.
