Member Celebration Month: The Missions, the Moments, and the Momentum
For nonprofits, most work happens quietly, far from any spotlight: a food pantry opens its doors before sunrise; a youth program wraps up another after-school session; a small team jumps on a call about a policy that will change how they serve their neighbors.
This year, our members have shown up in ways big and small. You joined policy calls and asked the questions that mattered. You shared data that helped tell the story of a sector serving millions of Floridians. You connected with peers across counties and regions, traded ideas, and left conversations with something new to try. Together, you filled more than 87 virtual and onsite events with over 3,200 attendees, representing 441 member organizations in 38 counties across all 8 regions of the state.
We want you to know that we see you doing the work. So for the first time, we're setting aside an entire month to celebrate it. There's no better time than today to honor and reflect on the missions, the moments, and the momentum that move us all forward.
What you'll see this month
All November, we'll be spotlighting member organizations, sharing your stories in your own words, and highlighting the communities you serve from one end of Florida to the other. Keep an eye on our LinkedIn page, and your inbox, for more.
We'll close the month together at our virtual Member Celebration on November 19. Bring your big wins for the year and your favorite afternoon pick-me-up, and join us for a look back at the year, celebrate member voices, and a moment to pause.
