Greg Black

With nearly two decades’ experience representing clients before Florida’s Legislative and Executive Branches, Greg Black actively represents a wide variety of clients, placing him throughout myriad policy, regulatory and budgetary issue areas. This representation provides him with a thorough understanding of the vast issues addressed by Florida’s government officials and professional staff.

Greg first began his career working for two large statewide associations with a primary focus on the financial services and insurance regulatory sectors, and Florida’s civil justice system. In addition, Greg previously worked as a federal lobbyist while working with the Florida Bankers Association on priority legislative and regulatory initiatives in our nation’s Capital, Washington, DC.

Following his time working as an association lobbyist, Greg was recruited by a mid-size firm specializing in legislative and governmental relations and then a large, Florida-based corporate law firm. He consistently represents associations, non-profits, large national and international companies, Florida-based companies, large landowners and developers, and cultural attractions.

Since 2009, Greg has actively led or worked on major policy and funding initiatives across all levels of government. Using his knowledge of state government and by continuing to build strong relationships with elected officials, agency heads, and staff, Greg continues to successfully advocate on behalf of his clients.

Greg is based in Tallahassee, Florida. Greg is actively engaged with his church, Faith Presbyterian Church and previously served as the Chair of the Director Search Committee for the Faith Preschool and Kindergarten. In addition, he remains actively involved with the Florida State University College of Law, having previously served as President of the Law School’s Alumni Board of Directors. Greg also serves on the Board of Directors for Take Stock in Children (TSIC).
