Add Legal Compliance Checkup to Your Year-End To Do List

Date postedNovember 14, 2024
Posted By: Leah Donelan McDermott in News for the Sector,

As the end of the year approaches, one of the best things you can schedule for your organization is a self-check of your nonprofit legal compliance.  Do you have all the things in place you need to stay legally compliant at the federal, state, and local levels?  Do your fundraising events follow all the guidelines required?  Have you verified your obligations in advocacy, HR, governance, and more?  Does your Board understand the legal compliance obligations for your nonprofit?

Florida Nonprofit Alliance has a great tool to help you do just that.  The Legal Compliance Checklist was developed by Florida attorneys and is easy to use.  It's free for FNA members and only $15 for non-members.

Click here to download the checklist, and give yourself the peace of mind that comes from knowing your organization is compliant.
