We're pleased to partner with Connect For More for our monthly consultants-only virtual meeting where we'll be facilitating a discussion on pressing issues facing consultants from around Florida.  The meeting is open to any consultant working with nonprofits in Florida.

September's topic is on the basics of trauma, toxic stress, and resilience, facilitated by Andrea Routh, Founder of The Leading Impact.  Did you know that 70% of U.S. adults report at least one childhood trauma episode?  What does this mean for you, your clients, and the people they serve?  In this interactive workshop, we will look at your work as consultants through a trauma-informed lens.  We will learn the basic brain science of trauma, toxic stress, and Adverse Childhood Experiences and their impacts on our health, mental health, productivity and quality of life.  We will discuss together why trauma-informed approaches and resilience practices matter for nonprofit consultants and our clients, especially in today's environment.
