Florida Nonprofit Compensation & Benefits Survey Opens Tomorrow

Florida Nonprofit Alliance, along with partners from across the state, is pleased to announce the launch of our first statewide nonprofit Compensation and Benefits Survey.
From June 2 through July 14, nonprofit organizations across Florida are invited to participate in this collaborative research initiative designed to strengthen workforce practices across the nonprofit sector.
The survey will inform a comprehensive statewide report and interactive dashboard examining nonprofit compensation, benefits, staffing, and workforce practices. These resources will be made available free of charge through Florida Nonprofit Alliance's website, providing organizations with Florida-specific data to support decision-making and organizational planning.
The findings will also help nonprofit leaders benchmark compensation and benefits practices, support hiring and retention efforts, make informed budgeting decisions, and demonstrate sound operational management to grantmakers, donors, board members, and community stakeholders. The data can also help organizations ensure compensation practices remain competitive and provide valuable information for executive compensation reviews to ensure legal and tax filing compliance.
A strong response rate is essential to producing meaningful, representative findings. Participation from organizations of all sizes, missions, and regions will help ensure the final report reflects the full diversity of Florida's nonprofit sector and provides reliable data that organizations can use with confidence.
Completing the Survey
Organizations should submit one response per organization, ideally completed by a CEO, CFO, HR professional, or another staff member with access to organization-wide compensation and benefits information.
All responses are confidential and will be reported only in aggregate form. Individual organizations and employee data will not be identified in the published findings.
Because the survey is designed to provide a comprehensive picture of nonprofit compensation and benefits practices across Florida, organizations may need time to gather information before beginning. Depending on organization size, the survey includes up to 138 questions and a supplemental spreadsheet used to collect employee compensation and benefits data.
The survey does not need to be completed in a single session. Responses may be saved and revisited as often as needed during the survey open period.
